What's the difference between the options?
Each option gives you the ability to select the payment pace by which you wish to pay for the book club. All payment options receive equal access to enjoy what the book club has to offer.
Do I get more with the annual membership?
Choosing the annual membership gives you two months free and a savings of $13.50.
When will I be charged?
The payment due date will be set according to the day that you started your membership. For monthly plans, that will be the day you sign up every month. For yearly plans, this will be the month and the day that you signed up, and for the 6 month plan, this will be on the day you signed up every 6th month.
Do memberships renew automatically?
Yes, payments are set to auto renew unless canceled.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, the book club is not here to hold you hostage, we understand that life happens, and priorities come first in life. There will be no resentments or judgments if you choose to leave, pause, or cancel. You are always welcome back. Cancellations can be done online through Stripe, or you can contact us directly if you are having issues canceling.
What happens if I cancel?
Once a membership is canceled, we will remove you from our mailing list and the group chat, and you will no longer have access to the membership benefits the book club offers.
Can I switch payment options?
Yes, please contact us for help changing your plan.
Are payments refundable?
Annual and 6 month plans are refundable based on proration. That means that you will be refunded based on your use. If you paid for 12 months and used 3, then we will refund the remaining 9 months you had left on your subscription. The same applies for the 6 month plan. We do not offer this on the monthly plan. If you choose to cancel a monthly plan, your plan will cancel out after the full month has completed, and you will have access to the book club for the remainder of that month of service.
What if my payment fails?
We will send an invoice and run payment attempts a second time within the billing period. Payments that are past due for more than one month will be automatically canceled out.
Are the books included?
No, members are responsible for purchasing their own books. An Amazon affiliate link will be sent by email when a new book has been selected, but members are not required to use the provided link and may purchase their book wherever they prefer. New books are announced two weeks before we begin reading them.
